Ian Carr är en gitarrist och musikant som har vistats på den brittiska folkmusikscenen sedan slutet av 1980-talet. I 15 år ingick han i brittisk-svenska gruppen Swåp, där fyra musiker inte bara bytte låtar utan skapade ett eget sound som gungade i två- och tretakt ute på Nordsjön. 2014 släpptes första egna plattan ”Who He?” En kärleksförklaring till ljuden i svensk folkmusik. På Umefolk släpps nya skivan, ”I like your taste in music”
Ian Carr is a guitarist and a musician who has resided in the British folk music scene since the end of the 1980s. For 15 years, he was a part of the British-Swedish group Swåp, where four musicians not only traded tunes, but created their own sound that rocked in double and triple time out on the North Sea. In 2014 Ian released his first album, "Who He?", a declaration of love to the sounds of swedish folk. The second album "I like your taste in music" will be released at Umefolk 2020.
